We will be releasing the AcuInvoice Simple Store this week. This should sufficiently address this functionality, and more. The code we will be releasing should be easily modified to meet whatever other functions are required.

We've started to draft specs on this already and plan to develop and release this in the next couple of months. We will either a) release the script for free (keeping in mind that an AcuInvoice account is required for it to work) or b) make it low cost, but offer some installation services as part of the price. The way we're currently envisioning it is as a lightweight store for the delivery of digital goods. We might post a detailed specification on the blog or in the forums once we have something a little more advanced. We've gone on and reserved the domain AcuCheckout.com (we have a talent for names, no?). Should be pretty slick.

this is a GREAT idea. A very marketable otion for me and I could pick up a lot of clients from that option.
Also, similar options to include time tracking options (as per another topic on here) would be enormous!

A subscriber has contacted us requesting the development of a universal form generator. Said form would allow customers to enter in their own information, presumably place an order, and have that order automatically passed to AcuInvoice to create an invoice. This specific request was for the development of a utility that was part of the AcuInvoice core application. Our preference would be to implement functionality such as this through the development of a lightweight PHP script that interacts with AcuInvoice via the API. Such as setup would allow you to install the script on yourdomain.com/order.php (or something similar) and have an invoice automatically and securely generated. We would like to have additional feedback from users on this idea.
